I thought I'd start with my favorite :) I wrote this for a few dads I know for Father's Day in 2000. But believe me, it still applies today!
D-A-D-S
D-daring
A-ancient
D-dope heads
S-sinners
but we must remember- They are beginners!
Sometimes slow
Sometimes fast
We are lucky when they last.
To outlast daughters and their teenage ways
They always think, "It's just a phase".
We'll get over it and come home
Back into the arms we so adore.
Dads are wonderful, "special" people,
And I'm glad we have ours.

D-damn great!
S-sanctuary
They have a place I'll always carry.
